Welcome to the Awaz Blog, managed by me, Sarah. For the last ten years of my life, I've been a voice for conscious living, social justice and fair trade. I share on this blog my experiences living and working with artisan cooperatives in India, running Awaz, a fair trade business and being a community organizer for fair trade for the Northwest Fair Trade Coalition. We bring you great ethical products, stories and inspiration for practical ways we can work together to create a new economic model that honors workers, consumers and the environment.
Awaz offers high quality, handmade eco-fashion, apparel and kids toys from natural fibers direct from artisans we trade with in India for wholesale and retail.
